Club Menangle is Australia’s premier harness racing and events complex boasting some of the largest and most versatile facilities in Sydney’s southwest. The club operates both Trackside at Menangle Park Paceway and the Menangle Country Club which was opened in February 2020.
Fresh from winning Campbelltown Restaurant of the Year we are currently seeking a skilled energetic Chef de Partie to join our dynamic team. This is a brand-new kitchen with brand new modern fit out – it has everything you will need to succeed! You will work alongside our Sous Chef and Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including aiding with menu/meal preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness.
In the role, you will be responsible for:
- Ensures a first-in, first-out food rotation system and verifies all food products are properly dated and organized for quality assurance.
- Keeps cooking stations stocked, especially before and during prime operation hours.
- Monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes.
- Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises waste, plus works with existing systems to improve waste reduction and manage budgetary concerns.
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards.
- Works with head and sous chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff ability, and training opportunities.
- Verifies that food storage units all meet standards and are consistently well-managed.
You will bring:
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team
- Great communication and organisation skills
- Clean and neat presentation
- Ability to stay focused and calm under pressure
- Own Transport is an advantage

Bar / Wait Attendant
As Menangle Country Club continues to grow, we have an opening for Floor & Bar staff to join our team! This opportunity will see you working between both our venues – Menangle Trackside and Menangle Country Club.
We are looking for professional Floor/Bar Staff that can provide a consistent and high-quality standard of customer service to all clients, ensuring smooth delivery of beverage, food and customer services to patrons within the venue. Present the club as a premier hospitality and entertainment centre by attracting and retaining guests by providing quality service.
In the role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent and professional customer service at all times
- Set up and close down of all dining areas as directed
- Ability to work in a team-based environment
- Work as a team member and help out other departments as required
- Delivering beverages and food items to tables
- Complying with all food, beverage and WHS regulations
- Clearing and cleaning tables throughout the venue
You will bring:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
- Responsible Service of Gambling certificate
- Relevant previous experience as a wait staff
- Ability to work a varied casual roster including weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Previous team work experience
- Previous customer service experience
Hours of work will be over a flexible roster with weekends expected
