Club Menangle is Australia’s premier harness racing and events complex boasting some of the largest and most versatile facilities in Sydney’s southwest. The club operates both Trackside at Menangle Park Paceway and the new Menangle Country Club which was opened in February 2020.

 We have an exciting 12-month opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual to join our marketing team as Marketing Manager – Memberships in a job share role.

Reporting to GM of Marketing, this part time role will help grow the Club Menangle membership program with the assistance of our gaming & loyalty consultant, increase revenue and engagement for the programs through data analysis, segmentation, targeted promotions and personalised communications.

In the role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing and managing racing and social member marketing strategy in line with company, marketing and club objectives
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team and Club Operations on the creation and execution of the membership strategy
  • Increase onsite visitation and spend by delivering targeted content and promotions to member database through specific communications
  • Co-ordination of member communications, promotions and events
  • Work as an effective team member; sharing responsibilities, working collaboratively, generating ideas and demonstrating leadership within the marketing team

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in membership marketing and proven results in growing a membership base
  • Previous experience with data analysis and segmentation
  • Experience with Graphic Design and using design tools such as Canva, Adobe, InDesign
  • Experience with Mailchimp or other Marketing, Automation and Email Platforms
  • Ability to deliver highly effective marketing campaigns that produce tangible and measurable outcomes with limited budget expenditure
  • Proven examples of collaborating, negotiating and communicating with a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Must have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a relevant discipline and/or experience

IT Administrator – FULL TIME

Reporting to IT General Manager, this full-time role will support all of Club Menangle’s various systems as well as being first point of call for general IT support.

In the role you will be responsible for the following:

  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and Wi-Fi
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, ensuring availability of hardware systems and services
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests via a Jira ServiceDesk platform and ensure tickets are documented for future reference
  • Provide first line technical support across the organisation

You will bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology administration
  • 2+ years’ experience in any of the following; Office 365, SharePoint, Azure, Active Directory
  • Broad network (LAN/WAN) experience
  • Office 365 Administration experience desirable
  • Solid understanding of OSI model
  • Knowledge of VLANs

Must have:

  • NSW drivers Licence and own vehicle
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred but not essential

Bar / Wait Attendant

As Menangle Country Club continues to grow, we have an opening for Floor & Bar staff to join our team! This opportunity will see you working between both our venues – Menangle Trackside and Menangle Country Club.

We are looking for professional Floor/Bar Staff that can provide a consistent and high-quality standard of customer service to all clients, ensuring smooth delivery of beverage, food and customer services to patrons within the venue. Present the club as a premier hospitality and entertainment centre by attracting and retaining guests by providing quality service.

In the role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing excellent and professional customer service at all times
  • Set up and close down of all dining areas as directed
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Work as a team member and help out other departments as required
  • Delivering beverages and food items to tables
  • Complying with all food, beverage and WHS regulations
  • Clearing and cleaning tables throughout the venue

You will bring:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • Responsible Service of Gambling certificate
  • Relevant previous experience as a wait staff
  • Ability to work a varied casual roster including weekdays, evenings and weekends
  • Previous team work experience
  • Previous customer service experience

Hours of work will be over a flexible roster with weekends expected
